Tūrangawaewae means standing place and feet, or ‘a place to stand’. Tūrangawaewae are places where we feel empowered and secure. Our movie shows how we, students of Pakuranga Intermediate Satellite, connected with local places important to us by walking, looking and thinking about where we live.
